STONE BREAKER, also known as Chanca Piedra (Phyllanthus Niruri) is a tropical herb traditionally used to help treat kidney stones and gallstones. It is believed to help break down calcifications, allowing them to pass more easily through the urinary tract. In addition to supporting urinary health,
it is also known to support liver function, help regulate high blood pressure, improve digestion, promote hair growth, and relieve body pain. Traditionally, it has also been used for its antimicrobial properties, which may help inhibit the development of certain sexually transmitted infections such as gonorrhoea and syphilis. Its antioxidants helps the body combat viruses, bacteria, fever, malaria, gout, and harmful free radicals. Its alkalising properties are also believed to help reduce levels of uric acid, lactic acid, and carbonic acid in the body. For enhanced benefits, it is often mixed with key lime juice before consumption.
