Annato®

Enjoy Annatto as a tea to remove inflammation from the blood, increase iron levels, improve eye and heart health. It reduces the appearance of pores. Contains anti-aging properties. Good for the bones. Good for your eyes. Great for digestive and kidney issues. Used as a lipstick and insect repellent. Use for clearing up STD’s. Use to treat, sunburn, wounds, bruises and asthma. Great replacement for saffron and turmeric. Add to dishes, or apply as a face mask.

As a Tea: 1 Tbsp of Annatto to 1 cup of water. Simmer on a medium heat for 15 minutes. Strain and serve with 3 slices of Key Lime and sweeten with Wild Honey, Pure Date Syrup Or Pure Agave. Drink 1-3 times a day.

As a Mask: 1 Tbsp to 3 Tbsp Water, mix to a paste. Apply to clean skin. Apply and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water. Pat dry and moisturise with our Raw Batana Oil.

As a Dish: Grind 1-2 tablespoons using a pestle and mortar. Add to your stir fries, soup’s, stews, grilled mushrooms etc.
